In October 2023, I embarked on an extraordinary journey with George Tourism, also part of
The Wilderness. My main aim was to immerse myself in its beauty and share this experience
with my community—you. The allure of exploring The Wilderness has always been there,
especially considering many pass through without truly experiencing its charm.
My desire to delve deeper into The Wilderness is rooted in a childhood memory. At the age
of 11, my family and I embarked on a road trip from Johannesburg to Knysna, a destination
just an hour away from George. Even in my youth, I distinctly remember passing through
this quaint town and being captivated by the breathtaking fynbos. Returning now, it feels
like I fulfilled a goal manifested as a young girl on a road trip.
